Used to be very good, but the quality has declined in recent years
Horrible food and managers gave attitudes and and dirty looks when we let the server know. Wouldn’t take the pizza off check even though we didn’t eat it because of server throwing it in the trash instead of showing them. Never will come here again!
Went there for lunch on July 19ththe food was good but I'm giving only 3 stars because they ripped off my credit card. I spent $30.33 for lunch the waitress took my card and went to process the transaction and she returned the card to me. A couple of days later when I checked my account I found out that they charged my card on 2 separate occasions totaling $148.75 extra. According to my bank My first transaction was swiped but the others was entered manually. I must admit that it's a waste of good pizza not to go there so if you have to go there make sure you use cash no cards
Great pizza and wonderful owners and staff! We were treated like family👍
big slices and i love their plain pizza !!
Not a busy day, no prices listed on the menu chalkboard or the paper menus. 3 toppings on the pizza, 2 slices came to $22 and both slices were burnt. The cleaner they use for the indoor tables smells of a bathroom more than a restaurant. Burnt, cost, and smell = bad experience.
Absolutely ridiculous that they charge 20 dollars for a pizza and won't provide tap water. I understand not providing tap water for every person on the boardwalk, but when you have a bill of 80 bucks for 3 pizzas maybe you make an exception and give water for kids. On a good note, service was good and waitress was very accommodating.
We ordered two turkey and cheese hero sandwiches. The lady started making them but ran out of turkey. While she waited for more to be brought from the back, she took other people's orders, exchanged cash, and then went right back to making our sandwiches WITHOUT WASHING HER HANDS. The hero's had two thin slices of turkey and way too much processed cheese. Really disappointed. Never go there
There weren't many places to get out of the sun and eat but we got a table inside. It was early and the food came fast, waiter and owner or manager was nice, and the bread was great. We will be trying the pizza the next time we're in town rather than Manco.
THIS IS PIZZA! over a dozen different slice choices. Were talking eggplant pizza, buffalo chicken, fresh spinach, plum tomatoes, things you cant find anywhere else on the Ocean City boardwalk. Fresh ingredients and a clean well ran establishment! Worth every penny.
Ordered 3 plane slices and 2 drinks cheese fries 49$ lol is there lobster on the pizza no told her cancel that order. Crazy 49$ you been warned go elsewhere no prices very pushy try to make you order in the front and pay first before you seat down because they know what their doing I’m still in shock
5 Star pizza, but the dining area needs updating. This is our favorite beach pizza. Slices are so big, we have them cut in half and share, which allows us to sample more from the amazing selection. Try the margherita and the meatball ricotta.
Food is good, but the kitchen is run like something from kitchen disasters. Whats with the yelling?
Nasty owner! Expensive junk
Food is awful. Fries weren't done, pizza was bland, service was a nightmare. If you want pizza by the slice you have to pay up front, blocking everything, if you want anything other than pizza you have to order separately at a table. Not a big deal for a couple of people but a group of 3 kids and 4 adults all wanting different things... Nightmare. Plus it was really expensive. 6 slices, 2 hotdogs, 6 drinks, over $100 with tip. The only saving grace was an angel of a waitress who broke the "rules" to help us sort it out. There are 2 unaffiliated Angelo's - the bad one is the one with the Elmo motif. Don't waste your time or money.
I'd rate this place higher but Google only allows me 5 stars! The Margarita pizza was full of fresh ingredients, a perfect blend of flavors and textures. The Bacon ranch pizza (which I requested chicken added to without an issue) was delicious! Fries were well made, crunchy, not greasy. Service was excellent!
Best pizza on boardwalk. Jumbo slices, fresh squeezed lemonade, wide variety and great service
Stellar pizza and a terrific tomato pie (for any vegans out there). Pricey, but big portions and well worth it.
My family and I just ate here and we won't be returning. At first everything was great, we were sat quickly and our drinks came right away. When the pizza came it was burned to the point that my kids couldn't eat it. Our server didn't return until it was time for the check, and then never returned again. When I told the owner about our experience she started to yell at the server in front of everyone and did nothing for us. I left disgusted by the pizza and the owners attitude.
Big slices
Had lunch there. Ordered two wraps and they were horrible. French Fries weren't cooked. When we spoke to the owner or manager whomever she was , she was rude and walked away. Bill for 2 wraps and French fries was $37. We left the waitress $5 and left $25 for the horrible food.Stay away from this place
Casual sit down pizza joint on the Ocean City boardwalk. Some of the best pizza I've had in a long time. Slices are huge, and the quality of the food was fantastic. We had the Buffalo chicken, Spinach Marinara, and Italian Flag pizza. 3 slices was more than enough for 2 people to split! Would definitely make sure we stop by again next time we are in town.
Angelo's II should be in the conversation for best pizza on the boardwalk. One slice is like two or three at the other places, the crust is thin, perfectly cooked and the flavors are spot on. They also offer a gluten free pie which is important to some in our family. They are friendly and courteous and we are always happy when we order here.
Really great big slices of pizza at great prices and the service was wonderful. Really nice young men behind the counter. Would definitely reccomend and I definitely plan on heading back there. Beats anyone else's pizza I've tried thus far on the boardwalk
best pizza in ocean city PERIODT!!
I'll was impressed by the pizza slices. Good size and flavor. Staff was cool. All around decent place.
My family and I were on the boardwalk, looking to spend less than $100 for a family of 5 and found this hidden gem ... posted kids specials on the exterior, a modern interior look, the hostess was very friendly but when we sat and asked for a menu we were handed a little 3x5 sign with items listed on both sides with no prices and a waitress standing over us waiting for us to order - each item we were maybe intrested in we had to ask for the price ... when we asked for the 3rd item price we felt anger, so we just made a quick descion and ordered. The quality of food was decent but a little less portion then expected, came out quickly and didn't cost as much as most other boardwalk eats ... this would have been a 3-4 star review but because of the poor service received and the lack of a menu with pricing, I have to give only 1.
Pizza was overpriced and bland but its the boardwalk and they turn out food fast
Some of the weakest pizza ever. Looked good, tasted super bland. They don't except credit card gratuity here. How am I I supposed a to tip you a after swimming on the a beach with no cash on me?And our server was an incredibly unhappy person, with an Elmo hat on... And there was a strange obsession with Elmo going on... Very strange.
Great for the kids and adults. Healthy fare, simple salads and great pizza. Everyone left happy and full. AC inside seating available. Look for tbe Elmos.
Best food in the neighborhood dude
The pizza quality is poor and the prices are high. I also made the mistake of ordering more than 1 slice per person.
Food was okay prices were very expensive!4 slices 3 sodas $43.00. I couldn't believe it that is ridiculous..
Crust made of cardboard. Unauthentic Mexicans makin the food
Ok if you want to pay 10 dollars for a slice .but it's a large slice.
Awesome food huge slices of pizza and a wonderful group of workers / owners
Staff seemed nice, and slices were HUGE! Prices were a little steep though, but I guess that's what you expect when right on the boardwalk.
Specialty slices will cost between $9 & $12 bucks but let me tell you.....we have been going here for more than 10yrs and Angelo's II will NEVER DISAPPOINT!! GARLIC KNOTS..A+
I personally think Angelo's Pizza II is one of the better pizza joints on the Ocean City Boardwalk. (Don't even mention the overrated Manco & Manco's, they're lousy!)The individual slices are fairly large and not too bad, but the pizza is always better when you order an entire pie. Good sauce and good dough. Also, the french fries are very unique, and a good way to start off your meal. Give them a shot as well! I always go to Angelo's II when I'm craving boardwalk pizza!
Amazing pizza! I make sure to stop by each year I'm on vacation!
Good pizza owner very friendly
Excellent food. This was my second time. I had to take a slice with me. The eggplant pizza is the best
Slices are as big as my torso. Pizza is seasoned to a level of absolute excellence. Worth every 20 dollar bill
Buffalo chicken pizza was amazing..
Pizza was hot and tasty. Price was reasonable for boardwalk pizza. We spent about 50 blocks for a family of 7. The offer a kids menu.
The pizza slices good for the price worth the wait..only 2 min.. great service..
Conveniently located a couple blocks down the boardwalk from Wonderland Pier and a nice place to get out of the sun on a hot summer day. Come in, sit down, and enjoy an oversized slice of pizza. Admittedly have never had anything but the pizza. Friendly staff, good service, a great spot in northern Ocean City.
My husband and I went a few years ago and everything was fine, for the exception of the manager yelling out the waitress's name every 5 seconds. We still joke about that today "Melissa". I went a few weeks ago with my husband and 3 kids. I know things cost more at the beach. The things that I didn't like were when we got there we were sucked in ,the waitress asking what we wanted to order before we sat down. Then we were never given a menu. My husband ordered pizza by the slice. If I was the waitress, I would have said that the slice is very large maybe start with one. The pizza is good but I have had better. The fries were good. There were no prices given and there was a little menu on the table which was blurry and dirty and no prices. The same waitress did not smile this time. Our bill came out to $60. I just went to a beautiful Italian restaurant for under that price including wine. I' m not going back and urge you not too. Don' let the Elmos fool you.
Im not really sure how to describe the slices of pizza that Angelos II offers except the tastiest, yummiest pizza we have ever eaten. We are local NJ residents so we know good pizza, good seasoning and good quality. This is it! 5 stars id give 10 if I could! PS if your looking for cheep food get out of NJ. Worth every penny!
